Calendar events and medication reminders can be updated remotely. The user can easily send or receive voice, text and picture messages. Pictures will automatically display a slide show when the device is inactive. Users can join virtual events such as health meetings and see events that are happening in the local community with just one click.
When connected to the the Conpago Smart Home , the companion can even read aloud any events and messages without the user needing to interact with the device.
CONPAGO SMART HOME
The Conpago Smart Home is a product that creates a link between families. It’s designed to sit next to a regularly used appliance. Because the system is self learning based on the user habits, it can also detect activity, or more importantly, inactivity, and gives warning when something might be wrong in the life of a loved one.
The system can also be linked to the Conpago Companion to read aloud notifications such as medication reminders and messages whenever an appliance, for instance a kettle, is used.
The concept is backed by PhD research and proven to increase connection between, specifically an elderly loved one and their family.
With the Conpago image recognition technology Pepper can detect when a user may have fallen, active or unwell and can report information to the Conpago dashboard on mobile app. Pepper also uses the Conpago natural language AI to be able to communicate with residents and answer questions. Pepper can also use the Conpago virtual community to find out events in the community, join the virtual community for video events and remind users when they have taken their medication.
The Conpago Pepper solution will be available as an enterprise solution early 2019 and as a consumer product mid 2019.
